Thom Yorke playing drums makes my loins go pitter pat

Barbara Kruger’s never really talked about Supreme, the skate company who’s been ripping off her ideas and prints letter for letter, color for color, for their red-and-white logo, which you have seen, because it is everywhere.
I emailed her casually to ask her about this. And today, she got back to me, and gave a candid statement on the matter of Supreme for the first time, ever, really. By emailing me a blank email, with an attachment. Which you can see above.
an iconic moment in art history
For those who aren’t in the loop or forgot the name:
Barbara Kruger is the anti-consumerist, feminist artist who made pieces such as the ones below and pioneered a new, unique aesthetic in typography (an aesthetic that has been copied wholesale by “Supreme’s” marketing.)

can we stop acting like nonbinary ppl aren’t trans. we’re fucking trans. we don’t identify as the gender we were assigned at birth (100% man or 100% woman) therefore we’re trans. stop calling us “noncis and nontrans” what the fuck even is that
on the same note stop acting like the 3 “flavors” of nb are masc aligned, fem aligned, and unaligned/agender. nonbinary literally just means outside the gender binary. there are multigendered ppl, there are ppl that identify strongly with a gender that isn’t man or woman, there are people that identify as neutral or that simply just know they aren’t aligned with the binary. stop simplifying us, stop mischaracterizing us.
Using the ‘molecular scissor’ editing technique CRISPR, a gene known as “doublesex” in the bugs has been altered. The gene transforms female mosquitoes, taking away their biting ability and making them infertile.
Is anyone else ridiculously nervous about this? Wiping out something that’s so low on the food chain and plays roles in both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems seems…ill-advised. There’s no way we can fully predict the ecological ramifications.
I know that the diseases spread by mosquitoes are horrible, but there have also been studies suggesting we could modify mosquitoes to make them incapable of carrying those diseases without wiping them out.
People say there would be “no significant ecological consequences”, but we really can’t possibly know that for sure. I will remind everyone that ecologists once signed off on releasing cane toads into Australia and thought it would have “no significant ecological consequences”.
do you guys daydream more about yourself in fantasy settings (like vampires, demons, fairies, knights, etc) or in more realistic settings (like owning your own place, being a celebrity, having kids, etc)
“One of the things I think I’ve done successfully as a media figure is avoid a lot of the cliches, like the macho posing. I’ve tried really hard to blur the lines, and a lot of that does have to do with sexuality. I like fucking around with gender. I like writing songs that aren’t gender-specific. And I really felt an alliance with both Kurt and River in that both of those guys, in their respective fields, were doing the same thing”
